Healthy Apple Crisp (Vegan, Gluten-free)

This amazing and tasty Healthy Apple Crisp is Vegan and Gluten-free. It's very inexpensive and so easy to make. It's dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, corn-free, nut-free, and refined sugar-free. This Apple Cherry Crisp is a great fall dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients

  1. Wash, peel, and cut the apples in small cubes.




  2. Add 1 tbsp. of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. of nutmeg, and 2 tbsp. of turbinado sugar or coconut sugar and mix them in with the apples.

  3. Add 2 tbsp. of oat flour and mix in.

  4. Add 2 tbsp. of water and mix in with the apples until there is no longer any dry oat flour. If you still have dry flour, add another tbsp. of water.

  5. If using, add the fresh or frozen cherries to the apple filling. Add the apple and cherry filling to a pie pan. The one I used is about 8 to 9 inches.

  6. Making the Apple Crisp Topping. 

    Add 2 cups of rolled oats, 1/4 cup of oat flour, 1/4 cup of turbinado sugar, and 1/2 tbsp. of cinnamon. Mix all together.

  7. Add 1/3 cup of water and mix in, until all the oats and flour are no longer dry.

  8. Add the topping over the apple filling, until all the filling is covered. Bake it at 350F for about 20 minutes.
