Instructions

  1. Cook the rice, and set it aside.

  2. Peel and cut the ginger and garlic in small pieces. Wash and cut the greens onions.

  3. Add them to an iron skillet with some olive oil and cook at low temperature for few minutes, until soft.

  4. Cut the meat in thin small strips or diced it and add it to the skillet.

  5. Cook the meat for 3-4 mins until it becomes brown.

  6. Meanwhile, wash and cut the broccoli in small pieces. Add them to the skillet. Dice the apple and add it too, if using. It is optional, but it does give it a great sweet flavor to the dish. Add part of the sesame seeds, and reserve the rest for later. You can skip the sesame seeds, if you have allergies to sesame. Cover the skillet with a lid, and cook them until broccoli and apple is soft.

  7. In a saucer pan, add the sugar with the water and simmer it on medium heat, until sugar has melted.

  8. Add the tapioca flour, coconut aminos, and sugar water to the skillet, and mix until all is incorporated and until it becomes thicker. The tapioca flour will make the stir fry become thicker.

  9. Serve over rice or cauliflower rice.
